Russell Orongo Bay Holiday Park, Russell

Enjoy a classic kiwi holiday at Orongo Bay Holiday Park. Just a short drive from Russell township, they have a range of accommodation options available including cabins, camp sites, self-contained, and glamping and tipis. You’ll find everything you need on-site: fully equipped kitchens, BBQs, a wood fire pizza oven, a playground, a swimming pool, WIFI, a campfire, and a fish smoke house.

Adventure Puketi Accommodation, Waipapa

Subtropical gardens or lush native forest? At Puketi Heights Bed & Breakfast you can experience both.

Seaspray Suites, Paihia

Beachfront accommodation anyone? Aptly named Seaspray Suites is located directly across the road from beautiful Te Tii Bay in Paihia, Bay of Islands. Their two-bedroom rooms are a great option for families and accommodate up to 5 people. Take in the fresh sea air on your balcony or patio with sea views.

They’re perfectly located, just a short walk along the coastline to eateries, activities, and shops in one direction and Waitangi Treaty Grounds in the other. The main supermarket in Paihia is just around the corner.

Horeke Hotel, Horeke

The oldest surviving hotel in New Zealand dating back to 1833, historic Horeke Hotel is a great option for those wanting to stay at the Hokianga end of the trail. It’s location close to the beginning or end (depending on which direction you ride) of the trail is perfect for cyclists. You can even hire a bike on-site.  

Their Family Room is ideal, accommodating up to four people.

Riverhead Villa, Horeke 

Another fantastic option for families on the west coast is Riverhead Villa. This beautiful old-style Kauri-Villa, originally built in Kaiwaka in 1871, was moved to its current site in 1979.

With comfortable beds, the best linen, a fire on cold nights, a delicious breakfast, and a friendly atmosphere, we assure the best of times and memories.
