We have a range of e-bike and walking tours. Cycling and walking all year round in our sub tropical climate is one of the ultimate highs for visitors to Northland. With our tours you can get off the beaten track, experience sights you can’t get to by car, and leave knowing that you have really ventured into the heart of Northland. The Pou Herenga Tai Twin Coast Cycle Trail and beyond!

Five splendid days cycling Coast to Coast and beyond, a scenically spectacular journey from the Bay of Islands on the East Coast to Hokianga Harbour on the West.

The cycling tour includes one of NZ’s Great Rides the Pou Herenga Tai Twin Coast Cycle Trail and carefully selected back road cycling. Suitable for most abilities – including those who have never used an e-bike.

Our tours take you beyond the Twin Coast Cycle trail to enjoy more of the Far North – small towns with quirky art galleries, kauri forests, ferry and boat rides, vineyards, more cycling and walking, taking in some of NZ’s iconic attractions, along with wonderful sights and experiences that only the locals know about! A great mix of biking and walk.

Includes some of NZ’s iconic attractions as well as those hidden gems that only locals know of. Entry into Wairere Boulders, award winning Waitangi Treaty Grounds, Hundertwasser Park Centre – Te Hononga, Footprints Twilight Tour – visit the majestic Tāne Mahuta, Pompallier House, Manea Footprints of Kupe. This is an all-inclusive, fully supported tour. We have top-quality e-bikes a luxury minibus and a local experienced tour leader who will always be nearby in support. Excellent accommodation, and meals at lovely eateries, award winning restaurants, and a vineyard.

“Northern Spirit”

Cape Reinga – Where the oceans meet!

The Northern Spirit e-bike tour takes you from Kerikeri up to iconic Cape Reinga, NZ’s northernmost point, and return. The tour encompasses magical spots with breath taking vistas including spectacular 90-mile beach, and many areas of cultural significance, traversing 450 km of incredible Far North coastlines and native forests with many character-filled experiences in between.

With an eclectic combination of accommodation and local eateries, this is an all-inclusive, fully supported tour. We have top-quality e-bikes a luxury minibus and a local experienced tour leader who will always be nearby in support.

Cyclists can choose how much riding they wish to do each day with daily distances varying between 20 and 70 km. Some of our route encompass parts of the “Tour Aotearoa” which is a world-famous bike packing route that stretches 3,000 km from Cape Reinga to Bluff.

The tour is on a mixture of State Highway (from Cape Reinga to Awanui and a few other short sections) and other lesser-used back country roads, both sealed and unsealed.
