The Far North is set to host its own version of a Coast to Coast multisport event.
More than 200 people have already signed up to take part in Tē Rima, which will see participants make their way from Paihia on the East Coast, finishing up in the small Hokianga settlement of Horeke on the West Coast.
Tē Rima – named after the five legs of the event – will begin with a 1.2km swim from the southern side of the Paihia wharf on October 28.
